  1. A rectangular swimming pool is 25 m long and 10 m wide. What is the perimeter of the pool?

    Answer: 70 m

    Perimeter = 2 × (length + width) = 2 × (25 + 10) = 2 × 35 = 70 m

  2. A store sells a jacket for $180. During a sale, the price is reduced by 25%. What is the sale price?
