MSU — The Michigan State University Math Placement Assessment uses the ALEKS PPL (Placement, Preparation, and Learning) adaptive test — up to 30 questions, 90-minute limit, scored 0–100; a score of 76+ places students into Calculus I (MTH 132), 61–75 into Precalculus (MTH 116), and 46–60 into College Algebra (MTH 103).
