MFDS — The MFDS Part 1 (Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery) is a postgraduate dental licensing examination administered by the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (Edinburgh, England, and Glasgow). It consists of 150 Single Best Answer (SBA) questions over 3 hours, covering oral biology, applied basic sciences (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology), dental materials, and human disease relevant to dentistry. Pass mark is approximately 60–65%.
