The Washington and South Carolina MACE forms have 60 multiple-choice questions written in English. The official content outline allocates 50 of them across three content areas.

Medication Administration, Observation and Reporting is 60% (30 questions), Medication Concepts and Measurements is 24% (12 questions), and Authorized Duties is 16% (8 questions). Administration and reporting is by far the biggest area.
START MACE REPORTING PRACTICE TEST✅ What is the passing score for the MACE?
No fixed percentage is published. Credentia sets the passing score, and the exam is scored as soon as you finish it, with the score report posted within 24 business hours.

It depends on the state. Washington and South Carolina charge $80 for each attempt, and Alabama charges $120 for each attempt plus a $50 Board of Nursing MAC application fee. Exam fees are non-refundable.

Yes, in Washington and South Carolina it is given as a live online proctored exam. You need a computer with a single monitor, a phone or tablet for the 360-degree room scan, and two forms of signature-bearing ID, one of them with a photo.
START MACE DUTIES PRACTICE TEST🔁 How many times can you retake the MACE?
Washington and South Carolina allow three attempts. If you fail three times within two years of finishing training, you have to complete a state-approved training program again before you can retest. Each retake needs a new fee.
START MACE STORAGE PRACTICE TEST💊 Can a medication assistant give narcotics or injections in Alabama?
No narcotics or controlled substances. Alabama MACs can only give premeasured auto-injectors for anaphylaxis, vaccination and opioid overdose, and a licensed nurse must be on the premises.
START MACE ROUTES PRACTICE TEST🧮 Do Alabama medication assistants calculate doses?
No. An Alabama MAC gives only a measured, prescribed amount of liquid medication or breaks a scored tablet. The exam still tests measurements, forms of medication and abbreviations.
START MACE DOSAGE PRACTICE TEST📅 Who can apply for the Alabama MAC exam?
Applicants must be at least 17, a US citizen or legal resident, and have completed an ABN-approved MAC program run by the Alabama Community College System or an accepted equivalent. The ABN application stays valid for one year.
