LA Bar — The Louisiana Bar Exam is a two-day Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) administered by the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions; it consists of the MBE (200 questions), MEE (6 essays), and MPT (2 tasks), with a passing scaled score of 270 out of 400 — among the highest UBE passing thresholds in the country. Louisiana adopted the UBE in July 2021, replacing its prior civil-law-focused state exam.
