             e. It must have your recent and recognizable photograph.
             f.  It must have your signature.

    2.  You must have your printed confirmation email with you. It is the email that you’ll receive from ETS                 when you registered for the GRE tests.
    3.  If you are taking the paper-delivered test, you must bring three and four pencils because ETS will not            supply them for you. It must be sharpened No. 2 HB pencils. Pens and mechanical pencils are also not          allowed.
   4.  On the test day, you can bring a snack and a drink with you. Having a full stomach and staying
         hydrated will do wonders. Your brain needs the carbs and water, so you’ll be able to think clearly.
   5.  You should not bring any kind of accessory. It is because you’ll have to leave your things in your locker            during the ETS exam.

  • What is the price of the GRE test?

If you are a student that is in need of financial aid, and you want to apply for the GRE exams, the Educational Testing Service offers a Fee Reduction Program. The program will base their aid on the financial circumstances of the applicant.

Moreover, through such a program, the deserving candidates will have a GRE fee waiver of about 50%. So if the GRE exam cost for the general test will be reduced, it will become $102.50, while for the subject test, it will be $75.     

  • Can you use a calculator on the GRE?

Yes, you can. An on-screen GRE calculator will be available for the computer-delivered test. Some questions in the Quantitative Reasoning section will require a lot of computations. Furthermore, it is advisable that you won’t use it in simple mathematical equations since it can be time-consuming.

  • How long is the GRE?

To estimate how long the GRE does take, you must keep in mind that each section is timed differently. For the GRE General Test, it will take at least 3 hours and 45 minutes. It will include Verbal Reasoning, which has 2 sections, and each will take at least 30 minutes. It also has Quantitative Reasoning, which has 2 sections, and each will take at least 35 minutes. Lastly, Analytical Writing is composed of 2 tasks, and each will last for 30 minutes.
