What is the sum of the interior angles of a hexagon?
Answer: 720°
Interior angle sum = (n-2)·180° = (6-2)·180° = 720°.
A circle has a radius of 5. What is its area?
Answer: 25π
Area = πr² = π(5²) = 25π.
Two angles are complementary. If one measures 35°, what is the other?
Answer: 55°
Complementary angles sum to 90°, so 90° − 35° = 55°.
What is the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle with legs 6 and 8?
Answer: 10
By the Pythagorean theorem, √(6² + 8²) = √100 = 10.
A rectangle has length 12 and width 5. What is its perimeter?
Answer: 34
Perimeter = 2(l + w) = 2(12 + 5) = 34.
How many degrees are in each interior angle of a regular pentagon?
Answer: 108°
Each angle = 540° ÷ 5 = 108°.
What is the volume of a cube with edge length 4?
Answer: 64
Volume = s³ = 4³ = 64.
