GED — The GED (General Educational Development) exam is administered by GED Testing Service (a partnership of the American Council on Education and Pearson) and consists of four subject-area tests: Mathematical Reasoning (115 min), Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 min, includes 10-min break), Social Studies (70 min), and Science (90 min); each subject is scored on a scale of 100–200, with a minimum score of 145 required to pass each individual test.
