What is the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 10 cm? (use π ≈ 3.14)
Answer: 31.4 cm
Circumference = π × diameter = 3.14 × 10 = 31.4 cm.
A triangle has a base of 8 cm and a height of 5 cm. What is its area?
Answer: 20 cm²
Area = ½ × base × height = ½ × 8 × 5 = 20 cm².
What is the volume of a cube with sides of 4 cm?
Answer: 64 cm³
Volume = side³ = 4 × 4 × 4 = 64 cm³.
Convert 3.5 km to meters.
Answer: 3,500 m
1 km = 1,000 m, so 3.5 km = 3.5 × 1,000 = 3,500 m.
What is the sum of the interior angles of any quadrilateral?
Answer: 360°
Any quadrilateral can be divided into two triangles, each with 180°, giving a total of 360°.
A straight-line graph passes through the points (0, 2) and (3, 8). What is the slope of the line?
Answer: 2
Slope = (y₂ − y₁) / (x₂ − x₁) = (8 − 2) / (3 − 0) = 6 / 3 = 2.

Answer: 90
