I'm scheduled for CAADE - California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators Certification in about 5 weeks and I'm looking for people to study with. Even just a weekly check-in thread or Discord group would help with accountability.

My background: I've been working in the field for 2 years but haven't formally studied for this cert before. Using practice tests at https://practicetestgeeks.com/caade-california-association-for-alcohol-drug-educators-certification and working through the official study guide.

Solid breakdown. I'd add: the night before, don't cram. Do one easy practice set just to stay warm, then sleep. Your brain consolidates material during sleep better than it does during a last-minute review session.
 
Can confirm — I failed my first attempt for similar reasons. The second time I was much more systematic about time management and it made a real difference.
 
The retake policy varies by state/certifying body. I had to wait 30 days. Check the official candidate handbook — it should spell it out.
 
Bookmarked. I've been looking for a realistic comparison like this for weeks. Most of what I found online was either from prep companies with an obvious sales angle or was 3+ years old.
