"CLT" — how important is this for the CLT exam?

I keep seeing CLT come up in every study guide and practice test for CLT - Certified Logistics Technician.

How heavily does it actually appear on the real exam? I've done about 10 full practice tests now and it shows up constantly, which makes me think it's a high-weight topic — but I want to confirm before I go deep on it.

What I've noticed: the questions on "CLT" in the practice tests are mostly conceptual, but occasionally they throw in these weird scenario questions where you have to apply the concept in an unusual situation. Those trip me up.

I'm also looking at "CLT - Certified Logistics Technician" as supplemental material. Is it worth going through that in detail or is the practice test approach enough?

Genuinely curious what percentage of the CLT exam is dedicated to this area.

I actually failed the first time by a few points. Total gut punch. But passed on the second attempt with a comfortable margin.

What changed: I stopped trying to memorize answers and started actually understanding the material. Specifically on CLT exam — I went back to basics and worked forward from first principles.

Also switched from reading to doing. Less time with the textbook, more time on practice questions with detailed answer explanations.

You've got this. The second attempt is always better because you know exactly what the exam is like.

The honest answer is: it depends a lot on your background.

If you're already working in this field, the CLT exam is testing knowledge you probably use daily. The "CLT" sections will feel familiar.

If you're coming in from outside, give yourself an extra 2 weeks and really focus on the practical application questions.

The practice tests here are worth doing repeatedly — I did the same test bank multiple times and found new questions I'd missed each time.

Quick data point: I spent 7 weeks studying, 2-2 hours a day, and passed with a 76%.

The section on CLT exam took me the longest to feel confident about. Eventually I just drilled practice questions until I could answer them without hesitation.

What testing center did you end up booking? Some of them have much shorter wait times than others right now.
