"Presentation skills training" — how important is this for the PRESENTATION exam?

I keep seeing Presentation skills training come up in every study guide and practice test for Presentation Skills Training.

How heavily does it actually appear on the real exam? I've done about 12 full practice tests now and it shows up constantly, which makes me think it's a high-weight topic — but I want to confirm before I go deep on it.

What I've noticed: the questions on "presentation skills training" in the practice tests are mostly conceptual, but occasionally they throw in these weird scenario questions where you have to apply the concept in an unusual situation. Those trip me up.

I'm also looking at "presentation skills training course" as supplemental material. Is it worth going through that in detail or is the practice test approach enough?

Genuinely curious what percentage of the PRESENTATION exam is dedicated to this area.

Same boat a few months ago. Here's what I'd tell myself:

The PRESENTATION exam is more concept-focused than the study guides suggest. They test whether you understand presentation skills training, not just whether you can define it.

My tip: when you see a scenario question, mentally walk through it step by step before looking at the answers. The wrong answers are designed to catch people who jump to conclusions.

Good luck — the fact that you're doing this level of prep means you're going to be fine.

Yeah I've been noticing the same thing in my practice tests and honestly it's a little overwhelming. From what I can tell, the exam really does lean hard on this topic — especially the stuff around structuring a delivery versus just knowing the content. What I'm struggling with most is the question types that ask you to evaluate *why* a presentation failed or succeeded, like they give you a scenario and you have to diagnose the issue. Those feel way harder than the straightforward definition questions.

Can I ask — for anyone who's actually taken it, how much of the real exam is scenario-based versus recall? That's where I keep losing points on practice runs and I'm not sure if I'm overthinking the scenarios or just missing some framework they want you to apply.
