Need to schedule a PSC (Professional Services exam through PSI) and I keep finding test center slots filled weeks out in my area. I'm in a mid-size metro area and the nearest testing center has limited availability.
Is 4-5 week wait times typical right now? I'm ready to test and the delay is frustrating. Any tips for finding availability — like optimal times to check the PSI scheduling system?

Look at test centers in neighboring cities even if they're 45-60 minutes away. The delay at popular urban centers is often not reflected at smaller satellite locations.

If your exam authorization has a deadline, contact PSI customer service directly and explain — they sometimes have options for candidates with urgent scheduling needs that aren't visible through the online portal.

PSI scheduling releases new slots periodically, often in the early morning. Checking right when PSI opens their online system (usually 7-8am EST) gives you first access to newly released appointments.
