I have the option of taking my Agile exam online at home or going to a testing center. Trying to figure out which is better for me.
Arguments for online:
- No commute stress
- Familiar environment
- More flexible scheduling
Arguments for testing center:
- No home distractions
- More controlled environment
- Better equipment potentially
My main concern with the online version is proctoring — I've heard some certification exams have very strict rules about what's allowed in the room. One wrong move and you're flagged.
Has anyone taken AGILE both ways? Or specifically the online version? How was the experience? And does the difficulty or question format actually differ based on how you take it?
Also — any issues with the "agile methodology" type content being harder in one format vs the other?
The agile methodology helped me understand what the exam actually tests rather than just what the material covers.
For anyone finding this thread later: the agile is passable with consistent effort, even working full time. I studied 54 minutes a day for 7 weeks. The agile methodology kept me honest about where my gaps were instead of just drilling things I already knew.
This thread saved me from making the same mistakes. The tip about agiliti being weighted heavily is accurate — I adjusted my study time based on this and it made a real difference. Also seconding the recommendation for agile methodology.
The advice about understanding why wrong answers are wrong — not just memorizing right ones — is genuinely the best agile advice in this thread. Rebuilt my prep around that and it made a real difference.
Coming back to this thread — just passed my agile yesterday. Everything about the agile practice test section is accurate. For anyone still studying, the define agile was the closest thing to the real exam I found.
