So I just got my passing score on the MS 203 (Microsoft 365 Messaging) exam this morning and honestly I'm still in shock a little. Failed my first attempt back in March with a 672 — needed 700 — and spent the last six weeks grinding through everything again. I'm an Exchange admin with about four years of experience, so I figured it'd be easier than it was. Spoiler: it wasn't.
What finally clicked for me was shifting away from just reading documentation and actually doing timed practice questions. I found a solid MS 203 practice test that simulated the real exam format pretty well, and that helped me figure out where my gaps were (mail flow rules and hybrid config — oof). I also built out a study guide covering the five exam domains and drilled the ones I kept missing.
For anyone currently prepping: how long did you study, and what resources actually moved the needle for you? Especially curious if anyone has exam tips for the transport/hygiene section — that one still feels shaky to me even though I passed.
