Finally passed my MO driver's test after failing twice — here's what helped

Okay so I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but I failed the Missouri DMV written test twice before I finally passed last week. The first time I just winged it thinking it'd be easy, and the second time I studied the handbook but apparently not the right way. What finally made the difference was switching to an actual MO DMV practice test instead of just reading the handbook cover to cover. Doing timed practice quizzes made me realize exactly where my gaps were — turns out I had no idea about Missouri's specific rules for school bus stopping distances. I also found a study guide that broke down the road signs section separately, which helped a ton.

If anyone else is struggling, my honest tip is to take at least 5 full practice tests before you go in. I scored a 90% on my last practice run and ended up passing the real thing with an 88. Don't be me and waste two trips to the DMV — study smarter, not just longer.
