Anyone found good free ASPPB study resources besides the obvious ones?

I've already gone through the standard "ASPPB" results on Google and most of it is just selling prep courses. Looking for actual free resources.

What I've tried:
- Practice tests here (solid, especially for ASPPB - Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards)
- A few YouTube channels but the quality is all over the place
- Reddit threads from 2+ years ago (some outdated)

What I haven't tried yet:
- The official ASPPB study guide — is it actually worth reading cover to cover?
- Library resources — anyone actually found useful materials there?
- Specific YouTube channels that cover ASPPB exam well

I don't mind paying for something that's genuinely better than free, but I want to max out free options first. Budget is tight.

What resources did you use that you'd actually recommend?

The free asppb assessment diagnosis of psychological disorders helped me understand what the exam actually tests rather than just what the material covers.

Went through this exact question when I was prepping. The ASPPB material on "ASPPB" is actually not as bad as it looks — once it clicks it clicks.

What helped me was finding one resource that explained it from first principles instead of just giving me the "right answer." Made a huge difference on the scenario-based questions.

Also: don't underestimate the importance of reviewing your wrong answers more than your right ones. I learned more from 20 wrong answers than 200 correct ones.

Failed first attempt, came back to this thread. The consensus on asppb practice test being the make-or-break area is right. Focusing almost exclusively on applied questions this time around.

Quick update on my end since I posted last week. I just hit 74% on my most recent practice run, which honestly surprised me because I bombed the first two attempts pretty hard. The EPPP content is dense but once the organization of it clicks it moves faster than I expected.

I'm targeting late August for the real thing, so about 10 weeks out. Still shaky on assessment and diagnosis but everything else is feeling more solid. If you're around the same stage just keep hammering the practice tests, that repetition is doing more for me than any notes I've taken.

Just wanted to drop a quick update since I've been lurking this thread for a while. Took a practice run last week and scored a 74%, which honestly felt way better than I expected given how scattered my studying has been. I've been mixing up topics a lot lately and the asppb abnormal psychology section specifically helped me figure out where my gaps were. Planning to sit the real exam in late August if I can keep this momentum going.

The free stuff really does exist if you dig past the first page of results. It's just buried under all the paid course ads. Good luck to everyone else grinding through this, it's definitely doable without spending hundreds on prep materials.
