Taking my AP Micro - Advanced Placement Microeconomics exam in 3 weeks and trying to find people at a similar stage to keep each other accountable.

I study better when I have someone to compare notes with. Currently going through "AP Micro" and working on my weak areas — specifically around AP Micro exam.

My schedule: 90 min of focused study every weekday, full practice test on weekends. I review every wrong answer and try to understand the why, not just memorize the right option.

If you're in a similar prep window and want to:
- Compare practice test scores weekly
- Share resources that actually helped
- Talk through confusing questions

Reply here or message me. Doesn't have to be formal — even just checking in once a week helps me stay on track.

Where is everyone at in their prep?

Worth mentioning: the free ap microeconomics basic economic concepts covers exactly the areas people tend to struggle with most.

Quick data point: I spent 7 weeks studying, 1-3 hours a day, and passed with a 73%.

The section on AP Micro exam took me the longest to feel confident about. Eventually I just drilled practice questions until I could answer them without hesitation.

What testing center did you end up booking? Some of them have much shorter wait times than others right now.

For what it's worth from someone who's been through it:

The AP Micro is one of those exams where the practice tests really do prepare you well. The style of questioning is pretty consistent. If you're comfortable with "AP Micro" material under timed conditions, you'll be fine.

The one thing I'd add: read the question stems very carefully. They sometimes add a qualifier that completely changes the right answer and it's easy to miss when you're going fast.

Also check whether you need to schedule the exam in advance — some testing centers book up 2-3 weeks out.

I actually failed the first time by a few points. Total gut punch. But passed on the second attempt with a comfortable margin.

What changed: I stopped trying to memorize answers and started actually understanding the material. Specifically on AP Micro exam — I went back to basics and worked forward from first principles.

Also switched from reading to doing. Less time with the textbook, more time on practice questions with detailed answer explanations.

You've got this. The second attempt is always better because you know exactly what the exam is like.

Honestly I almost bailed on AP Micro two weeks before my exam because the elasticity stuff was killing me. Like I just couldn't get the formulas to stick no matter how many times I reviewed them. What finally helped was doing actual practice questions instead of just rereading my notes — specifically I found a ap micro ap micro elasticity practice test that drilled it in a way that actually made sense to me.

I ended up passing with a 4 so it's definitely doable even if you're feeling behind right now. Don't give up on the supply and demand shifts either, they seem basic but they show up everywhere. You've got three weeks which is honestly more time than I had when I got serious about it.

Just took a practice test last night and got a 72 which honestly wasn't where I wanted to be but it's way better than the 58 I started with two weeks ago. Still tripping over the ap micro ap micro elasticity stuff though, I keep mixing up cross-price and income elasticity under pressure.

I'm sitting the real exam on May 7th so I've got a little time but not a lot. Would love to compare scores and swap study notes if you're around the same stage.
