So I've been trying to get into the Pakistan Army through ISSB for two years now and honestly after my second failure I almost gave up. My first attempt I went in blind, barely understood the intelligence tests or the command task structure. Second time I read a few random PDFs but still couldn't crack the psychological assessments — the interviewer kept telling me I lacked confidence in my responses.
For my third attempt (coming up in August) I've been using a proper ISSB practice test routine for the past six weeks. Started with verbal and non-verbal intelligence sections, then moved to psychological questionnaires. What I didn't realize before is how much the word association tests reveal about your personality — you can't just wing those. A good study guide helped me understand what the assessors are actually looking for, not just what the "correct" answers look like.
Anyone else been through multiple attempts? I'd love to hear what exam tips actually made a difference for people who passed after failing. Especially curious about the GTO obstacles and command tasks since that's where I feel weakest.
