Just got my score back. So close it hurts.
I felt okay going in but clearly there were gaps. Looking back at my prep, I spent a lot of time on "CHIA" but I think I underestimated how deep they go on CHIA exam.
The weird thing is I scored fine on the concept questions but tanked on the application ones. Like I understood the theory but when it came to scenario-based questions I kept second-guessing myself.
For anyone who's failed and then passed — what changed? Did you switch study materials? More practice tests? Different time of day?
Also curious whether the CHIA score report tells you which sections you were weak in. Mine just shows an overall score and I have no idea where exactly I lost points.

Passed CHIA 3 months ago. Happy to share what I remember.
On the "CHIA exam" stuff specifically — I found the practice tests here were actually harder than the real exam on those questions. Which was great because going in I felt more prepared than I needed to be.
The time pressure is real though. I came in with maybe 8 minutes to spare and that was after skipping the ones I wasn't sure about and coming back.
Don't try to cram the night before. Seriously. Last-minute stress makes you second-guess things you actually know.
Failed my first attempt, came back to this thread for motivation. The advice about really understanding why wrong answers are wrong — not just memorizing the right ones — is the single best piece of advice I've seen for the CHIA. Rebuilding my prep around that principle now. Using certified in hotel industry analytics chia for the concept review.
Great discussion. One thing nobody mentions: sleep the night before matters more than one more study session. Went in fully rested for my CHIA and felt sharper than expected.
