So I just got my results back yesterday and I'm still kind of in shock — I passed! This was my second attempt after failing by 8 points back in February. I want to share what made the difference because I spent weeks searching forums like this one for advice and didn't find much specific to GGST.
The biggest change this time was actually using a structured GGST practice test routine instead of just re-reading my notes. I'd do a timed 40-question block every morning, then go back and write out why I got each wrong answer wrong — not just what the right answer was. That process alone probably added 12-15 points to my score. I also found a solid GGST study guide that organized the domain breakdown in a way that finally clicked for me.
For anyone currently prepping: the regulatory and compliance sections hit way harder than I expected. Spent maybe 60% of my study time on the technical stuff and that was a mistake the first time around. Happy to answer questions if anyone's in the middle of studying right now.
