So my daughter just got her FSA results back and I'm trying to figure out what the scores actually mean. She got a Level 3 in math and her teacher said that's "on grade level" but honestly it doesn't feel super reassuring when I know Level 5 exists. We spent a lot of time this spring doing practice problems and I thought she was more prepared than this.
For anyone who's been through this — is Level 3 something we should be worried about going into middle school? I've been looking at the FSA Practice Test (5th Grade: Math) to understand what kinds of questions she missed, and it looks like fractions and word problems were her weak spots. She's got the summer now but I don't want to waste it if we're drilling the wrong things.
Also totally unrelated but I kept googling "FSA" and half the results were about FSA store and FSA eligible items for health savings — took me forever to find actual Florida Standards Assessment info. Anyone else have that problem or know a better way to search?
