Anyone else nervous about the FIDO exam next month? Need advice

So I've been studying for the FIDO certification for about six weeks now and honestly I'm starting to panic a little. I work full-time and can only squeeze in maybe an hour or two on weeknights, so I feel like I'm always playing catch-up. My target is somewhere around 75-80% on the actual exam, but my practice scores have been hovering in the low 60s and I can't seem to break through that ceiling.

I've gone through the official materials twice already and I've been using a FIDO practice test or two I found online, but some of the questions feel totally different from what I see in the study guide. Wondering if anyone has found resources that actually match the real exam format more closely? Specific topics tripping me up are the technical standards sections and anything involving protocol specifications.

Would love to hear from people who've already passed — how many weeks did you study, what finally clicked, and are there any exam tips you wish someone had told you before you walked in?

What study guide are you using? I made the mistake of relying on one outdated PDF I found through a random Google search and half the content didn't match the current exam objectives at all. Once I switched to materials tied to the current version it was like night and day. Also the protocol specs section trips nearly everyone up — try drawing out the flow diagrams by hand, sounds dumb but it genuinely helps things stick.

I passed back in March after about eight weeks of prep. Honestly the thing that helped me most was doing timed practice sets rather than just reading through material. The real exam moves faster than you'd expect. Your scores in the low 60s aren't as bad as you think this early — I was at 58% three weeks out and ended up scoring a 79. Don't memorize, focus on understanding why answers are wrong.

Six weeks out with a full-time job is totally doable, don't stress yourself out. I crammed most of mine into the last two weekends before the exam and passed on my first try. Block a full Saturday for a mock test under real conditions — no phone, timer running. Shows you exactly where the gaps are.
