Anyone else studying for WTO in the next month? Want to study together
Taking my (WTO) Water Treatment Operator Certification exam in 3 weeks and trying to find people at a similar stage to keep each other accountable.
I study better when I have someone to compare notes with. Currently going through "WTO" and working on my weak areas — specifically around WTO exam.
My schedule: 90 min of focused study every weekday, full practice test on weekends. I review every wrong answer and try to understand the why, not just memorize the right option.
If you're in a similar prep window and want to:
- Compare practice test scores weekly
- Share resources that actually helped
- Talk through confusing questions
Reply here or message me. Doesn't have to be formal — even just checking in once a week helps me stay on track.
Where is everyone at in their prep?
The free wto water quality treatment principles helped me understand what the exam actually tests rather than just what the material covers.
Went through this exact question when I was prepping. The WTO material on "WTO" is actually not as bad as it looks — once it clicks it clicks.
What helped me was finding one resource that explained it from first principles instead of just giving me the "right answer." Made a huge difference on the scenario-based questions.
Also: don't underestimate the importance of reviewing your wrong answers more than your right ones. I learned more from 20 wrong answers than 200 correct ones.

For anyone finding this later: WTO is passable with consistent effort even working full time. I studied 67 minutes a day for 13 weeks. The wto water treatment operator disinfection processes kept me honest about my actual gaps.
Great discussion. One thing nobody mentions: sleep the night before matters more than one more study session. Went in fully rested for my WTO and felt sharper than expected.
