Finally got my results back and I passed the DRC assessment with a 78%. I've been studying on and off for about 6 weeks and honestly the last 10 days were the most productive. I was really nervous going into it because I'd heard the scoring can be tough, but the format was more straightforward than I expected.
The biggest thing that helped me was focusing on the content alignment sections. I spent probably 15-20 hours just working through practice sets there. The data interpretation questions tripped me up at first but once I got the hang of reading the charts carefully, it got a lot easier. I did at least 4 full timed practice runs before the real thing.
For anyone just starting out, don't underestimate the time pressure. Each section has a pretty strict cutoff and I almost didn't finish the last one. Practice under timed conditions from day one — not just when you feel ready. That made a huge difference for me.
Happy to answer questions if anyone's preparing. I took the computer-delivered version if that's relevant to your situation.
78% is a solid score, nice work. I took it last year and the data interpretation got me too on my first attempt. Second time I came in with a system for eliminating wrong answers and it went way smoother.
Good to know about practicing timed. I've been studying without a timer and now I'm second-guessing my readiness. Going to change that starting today.
Congrats! I'm scheduled for mine in 3 weeks and the timing piece is exactly what I'm worried about. Did you find any specific section more time-intensive than the others?
What practice materials did you use? I've been struggling to find anything that feels close to the real test format. Most of what I've found online seems too easy compared to what people describe.
