Finally passed my DocuSign certification after failing twice — here's what helped
So I've been trying to get my DocuSign Administrator certification for the past four months, and I'm not gonna lie, the first two attempts were pretty humbling. I work in contract management at a mid-size logistics company and my manager basically pushed me toward this cert to justify some process automation we've been rolling out. Went in the first time totally underprepared — thought my day-to-day experience would carry me through. It didn't.
What finally made the difference was actually sitting down with a proper DocuSign study guide and doing structured review instead of just poking around the platform. I also found some decent DocuSign practice test questions that helped me figure out where my gaps were — specifically around envelope templates, recipient routing, and the API authentication stuff which I barely touch in my actual job. Spent about 3 weeks, maybe 1.5 hours a night.
Anyone else gone through this? I'm curious whether the advanced cert is worth pursuing or if the admin cert is enough for most roles. Also happy to share the resources that actually worked if people are interested.
