Compiling a list of what's actually useful for WPPSI prep after going through a lot of material that wasn't. Wanted to share what worked for me and hopefully save others some time.
For wppsi specifically, the free resources are surprisingly good. The WPPSI has questions that closely match real exam difficulty — not dumbed-down versions that give you false confidence. For the conceptual background, wppsi is one of the better free reads available.
What I'd skip: most YouTube "pass in one week" content. The explanations are surface-level and don't prepare you for the applied questions on the actual WPPSI exam. Flashcards alone also aren't enough for this one.
What actually worked: timed practice sets with immediate review of wrong answers, reading the official reference material for any concept that came up more than twice, and finding one study partner for accountability.
For the people asking about study timelines: I studied 62 minutes per day for 14 weeks working full time. It's absolutely doable without burning out. The key is consistency — missing days hurts more than extending your timeline.

Coming back to this thread because I just passed my WPPSI yesterday. Everything people said about the wppsi section is spot on — that was the hardest part for me too. For anyone still studying, don't skip the applied questions in the WPPSI. They're the closest to what you'll actually see.
Failed my first attempt, came back to this thread for motivation. The advice about really understanding why wrong answers are wrong — not just memorizing the right ones — is the single best piece of advice I've seen for the WPPSI. Rebuilding my prep around that principle now. Using wppsi for the concept review.
