So I've been studying for my business certification for about six weeks now and honestly I'm starting to question whether I'm doing this right. I work full-time in accounting and I'm squeezing in maybe an hour or two each night, but the financial management content is kicking my teeth in. Budgeting concepts I thought I understood from my job turn out to be way more nuanced on the actual exam material.
I've been using a Business Certifications Business Certifications Financial Management & Budgeting practice test to gauge where I'm at, and I'm scoring around 68-72% consistently. From what I've read you need 75% to pass, so I'm close but not there yet. Has anyone else hit this kind of plateau? I feel like I know the material but something's not clicking under timed conditions.
Would love to hear how others structured their study guide approach and any exam tips that actually moved the needle for you. Especially curious how long people studied before feeling genuinely ready.
