What is cryptocurrency mining question I keep getting wrong on CRYPTOCURRENCY practice tests

There's a category of question on my Cryptocurrency practice tests that I'm consistently missing and I can't figure out what I'm misunderstanding.

The questions are about what is cryptocurrency mining. Here's the type of question that trips me up: they give me a scenario and ask what the right action is, and I usually narrow it down to 2 answers — then pick the wrong one.

I think my issue is I'm applying the general rule but not accounting for the exception. Can anyone point me to a good explanation of when the standard rule doesn't apply for what is cryptocurrency mining?

I've looked at "what is cryptocurrency" study materials but they explain the concept at the surface level. I need the deeper "why" behind it.

Any specific resources, videos, or even just a plain English explanation would be genuinely helpful. Exam is in 3 weeks.

Went through this exact question when I was prepping. The CRYPTOCURRENCY material on "what is cryptocurrency" is actually not as bad as it looks — once it clicks it clicks.

What helped me was finding one resource that explained it from first principles instead of just giving me the "right answer." Made a huge difference on the scenario-based questions.

Also: don't underestimate the importance of reviewing your wrong answers more than your right ones. I learned more from 20 wrong answers than 200 correct ones.

The honest answer is: it depends a lot on your background.

If you're already working in this field, the CRYPTOCURRENCY exam is testing knowledge you probably use daily. The "what is cryptocurrency" sections will feel familiar.

If you're coming in from outside, give yourself an extra 2 weeks and really focus on the practical application questions.

The practice tests here are worth doing repeatedly — I did the same test bank multiple times and found new questions I'd missed each time.
