CBP - Certified Bitcoin Professional question I keep getting wrong on CBP practice tests
There's a category of question on my (CBP) Certified Bitcoin Professional practice tests that I'm consistently missing and I can't figure out what I'm misunderstanding.
The questions are about CBP - Certified Bitcoin Professional. Here's the type of question that trips me up: they give me a scenario and ask what the right action is, and I usually narrow it down to 2 answers — then pick the wrong one.
I think my issue is I'm applying the general rule but not accounting for the exception. Can anyone point me to a good explanation of when the standard rule doesn't apply for CBP - Certified Bitcoin Professional?
I've looked at "CBP" study materials but they explain the concept at the surface level. I need the deeper "why" behind it.

Went through this exact question when I was prepping. The CBP material on "CBP" is actually not as bad as it looks — once it clicks it clicks.
What helped me was finding one resource that explained it from first principles instead of just giving me the "right answer." Made a huge difference on the scenario-based questions.
Also: don't underestimate the importance of reviewing your wrong answers more than your right ones. I learned more from 20 wrong answers than 200 correct ones.

On the "CBP exam" stuff specifically — I found the practice tests here were actually harder than the real exam on those questions. Which was great because going in I felt more prepared than I needed to be.
The time pressure is real though. I came in with maybe 8 minutes to spare and that was after skipping the ones I wasn't sure about and coming back.
Don't try to cram the night before. Seriously. Last-minute stress makes you second-guess things you actually know.
