Finally passed ATLAS after two attempts — here's what actually worked

So I just got my results back yesterday and I passed with a 78, which honestly felt like winning the lottery after failing in March. I work full-time as a warehouse supervisor and was studying in 30-minute chunks during lunch breaks, which definitely contributed to my first failure. The test caught me completely off guard — way more situational judgment questions than I expected, and the inventory management section was brutal.

What turned things around for me was finding a solid ATLAS practice test that actually mirrored the real exam format. I did timed practice sets every night for three weeks instead of just reading through a study guide like I did the first time. The difference between passive reading and active recall is huge. I also made flashcards specifically for the supply chain terminology because those definitions will trip you up if you're not careful.

For anyone currently prepping, my biggest exam tip: don't skip the scenario-based questions in your practice materials. That's where I lost the most points on attempt one. Happy to answer questions about specific sections if anyone's studying right now.

Congrats on passing! I'm scheduled for mine in six weeks and honestly terrified. The situational judgment stuff worries me most — I feel like there's always two answers that could both be right. Did you find any particular ATLAS practice test resource that felt close to the real thing? I've been using one that seems too easy and I'm worried I'm not actually preparing for the difficulty level.

The inventory section got me too on my first attempt, no joke. I went back and spent two solid weeks just on that module using a study guide I found that broke down reorder points and EOQ formulas step by step. Second time through I actually felt confident on those questions. The math isn't hard once it clicks but you have to do enough repetitions that it becomes automatic under time pressure.

Two attempts is nothing to be ashamed of — pass rates on this exam aren't great. The exam tips about scenario questions are spot on. Always ask yourself what the policy-compliant answer is, not just what seems logical. Those two things aren't always the same thing.
