Anyone else studying for CBP in the next month? Want to study together
Taking my CBP - Adobe Campaign Business Practitioner Certification exam in 5 weeks and trying to find people at a similar stage to keep each other accountable.
I study better when I have someone to compare notes with. Currently going through "CBP" and working on my weak areas — specifically around CBP exam.
My schedule: 90 min of focused study every weekday, full practice test on weekends. I review every wrong answer and try to understand the why, not just memorize the right option.
If you're in a similar prep window and want to:
- Compare practice test scores weekly
- Share resources that actually helped
- Talk through confusing questions
Reply here or message me. Doesn't have to be formal — even just checking in once a week helps me stay on track.
Where is everyone at in their prep?
The free cbp data management helped me understand what the exam actually tests rather than just what the material covers.
I actually failed the first time by a few points. Total gut punch. But passed on the second attempt with a comfortable margin.
What changed: I stopped trying to memorize answers and started actually understanding the material. Specifically on CBP exam — I went back to basics and worked forward from first principles.
Also switched from reading to doing. Less time with the textbook, more time on practice questions with detailed answer explanations.
You've got this. The second attempt is always better because you know exactly what the exam is like.
Same boat a few months ago. Here's what I'd tell myself:
The CBP exam is more concept-focused than the study guides suggest. They test whether you understand CBP, not just whether you can define it.
My tip: when you see a scenario question, mentally walk through it step by step before looking at the answers. The wrong answers are designed to catch people who jump to conclusions.
Good luck — the fact that you're doing this level of prep means you're going to be fine.
Failed first attempt, came back to this thread. The consensus on cbp practice test being the make-or-break area is right. Focusing almost exclusively on applied questions this time around.
Same boat here, five weeks out and I've been drilling the wrong answers way more than the right ones. Like if I got a question wrong, I don't just look up the answer and move on — I actually go back and figure out why each of the other choices seemed plausible and where my thinking broke down. It's slower but it sticks way better. I found these free cbp data management questions that are really good for this because there's enough variety to catch your gaps.
If you want to do a weekly check-in or just swap notes on weak areas, I'm down. Data management and campaign scheduling are where I keep second-guessing myself, so it'd help to compare with someone who's actually in the material right now.
