How did everyone prepare for AMCAT in under 2 weeks?

So I have my AMCAT - Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test scheduled for June 10th and I'm kind of freaking out. I'm a CS final-year student and I honestly didn't take it seriously until a senior told me that TCS and Wipro both use AMCAT scores for initial shortlisting. Now I'm scrambling to figure out where to even start.

I've been going through some AMCAT - Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test practice test material online but the quality varies so much. The quantitative and logical sections feel manageable, but the technical modules are killing me — especially data structures. I found this AMCAT Data Structures and Algorithms 3 practice test which has been genuinely useful, way more realistic than random YouTube quizzes. Has anyone else used structured practice tests to prep?

My target is somewhere around 75th percentile across modules. Is two weeks realistic if I'm putting in 3-4 hours daily? Would love a study guide or week-by-week breakdown if anyone has one. Any exam tips from people who've already cleared it would mean a lot right now.

Two weeks is tight but totally doable if you're consistent. I cleared mine last October with about 10 days of prep — 3 hours a day. My approach: first three days just diagnostics, figure out your weak spots. I was terrible at automata so I drilled that hard. The adaptive nature of the test means it adjusts to your level quickly, so don't panic if questions suddenly get harder — that's actually a good sign.

75th percentile in two weeks is very achievable, don't stress. Time management during the test matters more than most people think — don't get stuck on one question. Flag it and move on. You can always come back if time allows.

Honestly the technical section is where most people lose marks without realizing it. I'd suggest splitting your time: 40% quant/logical, 60% technical. For CS students specifically, data structures questions come up a lot more than people expect. I used the AMCAT Data Structures and Algorithms 2 set and then moved to harder material — the difficulty ramp felt similar to the actual exam. Also check out AMCAT Automata and Formal Languages 2 if formal languages trips you up.
