I've been lurking here for months and figured it was time to give back since this community helped me so much. Passed the ABCS certification last week on my second attempt (scored 78, passing is 70) and honestly the difference between attempt one and two came down to how I studied, not how much. First time I just read through the manual cover to cover and thought I was good. Spoiler: I wasn't.
What changed everything was actually doing timed practice questions under exam conditions. Found a solid ABCS practice test that mirrored the real question style — lots of scenario-based stuff about behavioral consultation and systems-level interventions, which I completely underestimated the first time. I'd say those topics make up a bigger chunk than the official blueprint suggests.
I also used a structured ABCS study guide to fill gaps instead of re-reading everything. Focused hard on the ecological assessment and problem-solving process sections. Anyone else currently prepping? Happy to share what resources I found most useful and some exam tips that genuinely moved the needle for me.
