FM — The SOA Exam FM (Financial Mathematics), jointly administered by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), consists of 35 multiple-choice questions over 3 hours, covering time value of money, annuities, loans, bonds, general cash flows, immunization, interest rate swaps, and derivatives; candidates are scored on a scaled 0–10 basis with 6 required to pass.
