GROL - FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (Elements 1 & 3)
The FCC GROL exam combines Element 1 (Basic Radio Law and Operating Practice, 24 questions) and Element 3 (Electronic Fundamentals and Techniques, 100 questions). Both elements require a 75% passing score. The GROL authorizes the holder to adjust, maintain, and internally repair FCC-licensed radiotelephone transmitters.
