EBAU — The EBAU (Evaluación de Bachillerato para el Acceso a la Universidad) is Spain's official university entrance examination, administered by each autonomous community, covering mandatory subjects (Spanish Language & Literature, History of Spain or Philosophy, Foreign Language) plus track-specific subjects; scores are graded 0–10, a minimum of 5 is required to pass, and university admission is computed from a weighted combination of the bachillerato GPA (60%) and EBAU scores (40%), with a maximum admissions score of 14.
