CTC Certified Test Conductor (CTC) VIP Certification Exam

CTC — The CTC Certified Test Conductor exam is administered by individual Class I and regional railroads and governed by FRA regulations (49 CFR Parts 217, 218, and 240) and the General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR) or equivalent carrier rulebook; it certifies conductors and operators to work safely in Centralized Traffic Control territory. No single national standardized exam exists — carriers administer their own qualifying tests based on FRA-approved programs.
