CT Notary — Connecticut requires all notary public applicants to pass a state-administered exam on Connecticut notary law (administered online via the CT Secretary of State's eLicense portal); the exam is based on the Connecticut Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts (RULONA), codified at CGS §§ 3-94a through 3-94p, covers approximately 30 questions, and requires a passing score of 80%.
