CSPA — The Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA) is a Canadian essential skills assessment framework developed by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) that evaluates nine domains — Reading Text, Document Use, Numeracy, Writing, Digital Technology, Oral Communication, Thinking Skills, Working with Others, and Continuous Learning — across five proficiency levels; it is used in adult upgrading, literacy, and workforce development programs rather than as a single standardized certification exam with a fixed pass mark.
