CPS — The Certified Pet Stylist (CPS) credential is awarded by the International Professional Groomers, Inc. (IPG); the certification exam consists of approximately 100 multiple-choice questions covering breed identification, grooming techniques, safety, sanitation, coat and skin conditions, tools and equipment, animal behavior, and salon business practices, with a passing score of 70%.
