CHP — The Certified Health Physicist (CHP) examination is administered by the American Board of Health Physics (ABHP). Part I consists of 150 multiple-choice questions in 3.5 hours covering radiation physics, biology, instrumentation, dosimetry, internal and external protection, regulations, environmental monitoring, and emergency response. Candidates must pass Part I before sitting for Part II (written/essay).
