Certified Surgical Technologist — The CST exam is administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); it contains 200 questions (175 scored + 25 pretest), has a 4-hour time limit, and uses a scaled pass score of 700 on a 200–800 scale across three content domains: Perioperative Care, Basic & Applied Sciences, and Ancillary Duties.
