The CPIM certification, offered by ASCM (formerly APICS), validates expertise across the full supply chain cycle including strategy, S&OP, demand and supply planning, inventory management, detailed scheduling, distribution, and continuous improvement. As of June 1, 2026, the exam follows the CPIM 9.0 single-exam format.
