CEM — The Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential is issued by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE); the real exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions administered over 4 hours, with a passing threshold of approximately 70%, covering energy auditing, HVAC systems, lighting, motors and drives, building envelope, energy economics, compressed air, steam systems, measurement and verification, and renewable energy.
