CDT — The CDT (Certified Dental Technician) credential is administered by the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC); the written examination consists of 100 questions per division (Complete Dentures, Removable Partial Dentures, Crown & Bridge, Ceramics, Orthodontics, Implants), with a 2-hour time limit and a 70% passing score, followed by a practical bench exam.
