Question 1

The Site database becomes unavailable, yet users can still launch resources. Which feature makes this possible?

Accepted Answer

Local Host Cache

Local Host Cache keeps a LocalDB copy of Site configuration on each Delivery Controller so brokering continues during a Site database outage.

The license server manager (lmadmin) listens on TCP 27000 by default, and the Citrix vendor daemon uses 7279.

Question 3

An administrator wants a VDA to find its Delivery Controllers without manual registry edits and to pick up controller changes automatically. Which registration method does Citrix recommend?

Auto-update

Answer

Auto-update is enabled by default and keeps the VDA's list of controllers current after its first successful registration.

Question 4

Accepted Answer
