C7 California Low Voltage Systems Contractor VIP Certification Exam — Series III
C7 — The C7 Low Voltage Systems Contractor license is issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). The licensing exam is administered by PSI Exams and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with a 2.5-hour time limit; a score of 72% is required to pass. The exam covers both trade knowledge (NEC Articles 725, 760, 770, 800, 810, 820, 830; NFPA 72; TIA/EIA cabling standards; California Title 8 and Title 19) and California contractors law and business.
