  1. What is the sum of interior angles of any triangle?

    Answer: 180°

The three interior angles of any triangle always add up to exactly 180°.

  2. A point, a line segment, and a ray all differ. Which one extends infinitely in both directions?

    Answer: A line

A line extends infinitely in both directions, while a ray extends in only one direction and a segment has two endpoints.

  3. What is the area of a circle with a diameter of 6 cm? (Use π ≈ 3.14)

    Answer: 28.26 cm²

    Radius = 3 cm; Area = πr² = 3.14 × 3² = 3.14 × 9 = 28.26 cm².

  4. Two angles are complementary. One measures 32°. What is the other?

    Answer: 58°

    Complementary angles sum to 90°, so 90° − 32° = 58°.

  5. A cube has a side length of 5 cm. What is its volume?

    Answer: 125 cm³

    Volume of a cube = side³ = 5³ = 125 cm³.

  6. Which term describes the distance around the outside of any polygon?

    Answer: Perimeter

Perimeter is the total length of all sides around a polygon.

  7. An equilateral triangle has one angle that measures 70°. What are the other two angles?

Answer: This is impossible; all angles in an equilateral triangle are 60°

An equilateral triangle has three equal angles of 60° each, so no angle can be 70°.
