BMAT — The BMAT (BioMedical Admissions Test) was a university admissions test developed and administered by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing, used by select medical and biomedical science programmes in the UK and internationally; it comprised three sections — Section 1 (Aptitude & Skills, 32 questions, 60 min), Section 2 (Scientific Knowledge & Applications, 27 questions, 30 min), and Section 3 (Writing Task, 30 min) — and was scored on a 1–9 scale for Sections 1 and 2; it was discontinued after November 2023.
